The Lake & Vine Experience is designed as a curated lake-to-vineyard journey that captures the essence of the Okanagan lifestyle. Guests begin with a scenic cruise across Okanagan Lake aboard Sip & Anchor, followed by a guided tasting and dining experience at Quails’ Gate Winery.
This experience blends lake cruising, wine tasting, and vineyard dining into a seamless day that highlights both the natural beauty of Okanagan Lake and the hospitality of Quails’ Gate.
The experience is planned to operate daily during July and August, offering two departures per day:
Lake & Vine Lunch Experience
Enjoy a relaxed journey from lake to vineyard.
Set out from Kelowna and travel across Okanagan Lake as the shoreline shifts from city to vineyard. This experience begins with a private two-hour cruise, where Piquette Zero is served onboard as you make your way toward the Quails’ Gate Estate.
Upon arrival at Quails’ Gate, guests are welcomed for a guided wine tasting before settling in for a relaxed lunch on the property. Thoughtfully paced from water to vine to table, offering a refined taste of the region in a single afternoon.
This experience includes lake cruise, onboard refreshments, a hosted tasting, and return transportation to a preferred Kelowna location. Lunch at Old Vines Restaurant or The Market is guest-paid separately.
Lake & Vine Sunset Experience
Enjoy a relaxed evening journey from lake to vineyard.
Set out from Kelowna and travel across Okanagan Lake as the day turns toward evening. This experience begins with a private two-hour cruise, where Piquette Zero is served onboard as you make your way toward the Quails’ Gate Estate.
Upon arrival at Quails’ Gate, guests are welcomed for a guided wine tasting before settling in for dinner at Old Vines Restaurant. Thoughtfully paced from water to vine to table, offering a refined expression of the region.
This experience includes the lake cruise, onboard refreshments, a hosted tasting, and return transportation to a preferred Kelowna location. Dinner at Old Vines Restaurant is guest-paid separately.

Guests board the Sip & Anchor pontoon at their selected launch location:

9:45 AM – 11:45 AM – Scenic Okanagan Lake Cruise
Guests enjoy a two-hour cruise across the lake with views of the Kelowna shoreline and Okanagan Valley. During the cruise, guests are served Quails’ Gate Piquette-Zero and can relax while experiencing the lake from a truly iconic perspective.
11:45 AM – Boat Arrival
Arrival will occur at the most efficient launch location based on routing and lake conditions:
- Cook Road Boat Launch
• Water Street Boat Launch
• Gellatly Bay Boat Launch
11:45 AM – 12:00 PM – Transportation to Quails’ Gate Winery
Guests are transported by Sip & Anchor vehicle to the winery. Travel time is typically 10–15 minutes depending on dock location.
12:00 PM – 12:45 PM – Guided Wine Tasting
12:45 PM – 2:15 PM – Lunch at Old Vines Restaurant or The Market
2:15 PM – 2:45 PM – Return Transportation to Kelowna

Arrival will occur at the most efficient dock location:

6:15 PM – 6:30 PM – Transportation to Quails’ Gate Winery
6:30 PM – 7:15 PM – Wine Tasting Experience
This timing also allows guests the opportunity to visit the wine shop before closing.
7:15 PM – 9:00 PM – Dinner at Old Vines Restaurant
9:00 PM – 10:00 PM – Return Transportation to Kelowna

Pricing Structure
Pricing Structure
Pricing is structured to maintain a minimum sailing threshold of 6 guests, while offering a preferred rate for additional guests to make booking larger groups simple within the system.

$350 per guest
Taxes & Gratuity
- 18% automatic gratuityapplied to the booking
- 5% GST applied to the final total
This rate includes:
- Two-hour Sip & Anchor boat cruise on Okanagan Lake
- Quails’ Gate Piquette-Zero served onboard
- Transportation to Quails’ Gate Winery
- Guided wine tasting experience
- Coordination of the full experience
Food and beverages at Old Vines Restaurant or The Market would be paid directly by the guest unless otherwise included.
